Aldo Conterno Barolo "Bussia Soprana" 1989 3.0L

Poderi Aldo Conterno is one of the great names of Monforte d'Alba, and Bussia Soprana is the estate's home vineyard. The 1989 comes from one of Piedmont's legendary vintages, and this rare 3-liter (double magnum) format is ideal for slow, graceful aging. Robert Parker described the 1989 as huge, full-bodied and concentrated, with sweet black cherry, truffle, spice and spring-flower aromas, and projected decades of life.
