Basil Hayden's is a high-rye Kentucky straight bourbon from the Jim Beam family of small-batch bourbons, named for an 18th-century Kentucky distiller. Bottled at 80 proof, it is one of the lightest and most approachable bourbons in the small-batch category. Expect gentle spice, honey, citrus peel and toasted oak, with a dry, peppery finish. A great introduction to bourbon and easy to sip neat or on the rocks. This is the 1 liter bottle.
