Basil Hayden's Bourbon Toast 750ml

Basil Hayden Toast is a Kentucky straight bourbon with an unusual twist: brown rice replaces some of the grain in the mash bill, and the whiskey gets a secondary finish in toasted barrels. Bottled at 80 proof, like the original, it is gentle, sweet and easy-drinking. Expect toasted oak, vanilla and caramelized sugar, with dried fruit, a touch of cinnamon and a whisper of smoke. The finish is light and caramel-sweet, and the brown rice keeps the spice in check. Lovely neat or on the rocks.
