Bodegas Arautava makes wine in the Valle de la Orotava on Tenerife in the Canary Islands. This red is 100% Listán Negro from old vines on volcanic soils, aged a few months in tank. It is fresh and peppery, with red fruit, herbs and a smoky volcanic minerality. Serve slightly chilled.
