Château d'Yquem is the only Sauternes classified Premier Cru Supérieur in 1855, and it is the world's most famous sweet wine. It is made from botrytis-affected Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc picked berry by berry over successive passes through the vineyard. The 2020 offers apricot, candied citrus, honey, saffron and exotic fruit, with a luscious texture balanced by vibrant acidity. It is delicious young, but it will age for decades.
