Clos Toumalin is a small plateau parcel of about 3 hectares in Canon-Fronsac, bottled by Château La Vieille Cure. It is 100% Merlot from vines over 40 years old, farmed organically, and aged partly in new barrels and partly in amphora. Expect plush plum and black cherry with a fresh, limestone-driven backbone.
