Château Thivin, run by the Geoffray family, is the historic leading estate of Côte de Brouilly, on the slopes of the Mont Brouilly volcano in Beaujolais. Its classic Côte de Brouilly is pure Gamay.
It is juicy and mineral, with red cherry, raspberry and flowers on a fresh, fine frame. Great in magnum.
