R.H. Coutier is a small grower in the grand cru village of Ambonnay. The Cuvée Tradition is a blend of about 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay, all Ambonnay grand cru, with extended lees aging and a moderate dosage. It is rich and structured, with red apple, cherry, toasted brioche and chalky depth. This is grand cru grower Champagne at a fair price.
