Domaine Rossignol-Trapet Chambertin 2005 750ml

Domaine Rossignol-Trapet is a biodynamically farmed Gevrey-Chambertin estate with holdings in the grand cru Chambertin, the most famous vineyard of the Côte de Nuits. 2005 is one of the great modern Burgundy vintages, ripe and deeply structured. Critics describe a rich, expansive grand cru with cherry, anise, mocha, gamey and earthy notes and abundant fine tannins. Recent tastings found it still youthful, with substantial potential ahead.
