Georges Noellat Beaune 1er Cru 'Clos de la Mignotte 2020 750ml

Maxime Cheurlin has made Domaine Georges Noëllat in Vosne-Romanée one of Burgundy's hottest young estates. The Clos de la Mignotte is a tiny Beaune premier cru monopole of about a quarter-hectare, mid-slope above Avaux, with vines planted in the 1970s. The 2020 is structured and concentrated, with plum, dark cherry and violets over firm tannins.
