Podere Giodo is the small Montalcino estate of renowned Tuscan consultant Carlo Ferrini, a personal passion project. Its first Brunello vintage was 2009, and the 2010 is only its second release. 2010 is one of the greatest modern Brunello vintages. Expect a pure, elegant 100% Sangiovese with red cherry, rose, herbs and spice over fine, firm tannins. A rare bottle from a cult producer, now entering its prime.
