Highland Park, on Orkney, is one of Scotland's northernmost distilleries. Its whisky combines sherry-seasoned oak with the distinctive, heathery aromatic peat of Orkney. The 12 Year Old (Viking Honour) is the classic introduction. Expect honey, heather and gentle smoke with spice and dried fruit, in a well-balanced, medium-bodied malt with a lightly smoky finish.
