Domaine Hubert Lignier of Morey-Saint-Denis is renowned for its grand cru Clos de la Roche, made from old vines and known for depth and longevity. 1999 was a ripe, abundant and very successful Burgundy vintage. Tasters describe a dense, dark-fruited and muscular wine, with abundant tannin and strong minerality, that needed time and is now entering its drinking window. Photos available upon request.
