Description
Maison Joseph Drouhin, the Beaune house founded in 1880, makes this village Chassagne-Montrachet Blanc from 100% Chardonnay, aged for about 14 to 16 months in oak (around 20% new).
The warm 2023 vintage produced a ripe, aromatic and full-bodied wine with yellow fruit and floral notes balanced by freshness and finesse. Tasters note oyster shell, a creamy texture and a flavorful finish. Delicious now with lobster, roast chicken or creamy pastas.
