Description
Kopke, founded in 1638, is the oldest Port house. Its 20 Year Old Tawny blends wines aged for long periods in oak casks, and the age on the label is the average age of the blend.
Long cask aging gives a deeper amber color and greater concentration: dried apricot, fig, toasted nuts, caramel and spice, with a silky, complex palate and a very long finish.
