Macurichos Mezcal Artesanal Puntas de Tepeztate 750ml

Macurichos is a family mezcal from Santiago Matatlán, Oaxaca. It is made by Gonzalo Martínez and his brothers at a palenque dating to 1963, using ancestral methods including clay-pot stills. This Puntas (high-proof "heads" cut) is distilled from wild Tepeztate, an agave that takes decades to mature. Expect intense green, peppery, floral flavors and a powerful finish.
