Macurichos is a family mezcal from Santiago Matatlán, Oaxaca. It is made by Gonzalo Martínez and his brothers at a palenque dating to 1963, using ancestral methods including clay-pot stills. This bottling is distilled from wild Tobalá agave. It is prized for its floral, fruity, delicate character over gentle smoke.
