Ramey Cellars Claret 2019 750ml

Ramey Wine Cellars' Claret is a Bordeaux-style blend modeled on the Bordelaise approach. In 2019 it was 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, with Syrah, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, much of it from Jericho Canyon. It was aged on its lees for about 18 months in French and American oak with regular bâtonnage, then bottled unfiltered. Expect Luxardo cherry, blueberry and black cherry with violet, tobacco leaf, graphite, cedar and spice. The palate is full-bodied but fresh, with ripe tannins and a long, elegant finish.
