Description
Rey Campero is a family mezcal producer in Candelaria Yegolé, Oaxaca. Its mezcals are made the traditional way: agave cooked in earthen pits, milled by tahona, naturally fermented and double-distilled in copper. The Jabalí is distilled from wild Agave convallis, a notoriously difficult agave to ferment and distill.
It is complex and vibrant, with herbal, mineral and tropical-fruit notes over gentle smoke. A rare bottle for mezcal enthusiasts.
