Description
Rey Campero is a family mezcal producer in Candelaria Yegolé, Oaxaca. Its mezcals are made the traditional way: agave cooked in earthen pits, milled by tahona, naturally fermented and double-distilled in copper. The Pulquero is distilled from Agave salmiana, the agave traditionally used to make pulque.
It is savory and distinctive, with green, vegetal and earthy notes and gentle smoke.
