Single Malt Irish whiskey produced by Tipperary Distillery in County Tipperary The first whiskey to be distilled from barley grown at Tipperary's Ballindoney farm Distilled at an undisclosed Irish distillery under Stuart Nickerson's expert supervision After distillation, the whiskey is aged in Tipperary's own warehouse in first-fill ex-Rioja casks for a minimum three years Proofed with water that flows from the mountains surrounding Ballindoney Farm Exhibiting soft fruits and Victoria sponge, strawberry and raspberry are underlined with hints of dried grass. Toasted marshmallow rounds out the palate with a medium finish that is surprisingly robust for this whiskey's minimum three years of age. Non-chill filtered; 50% ABV Homegrown Barley is an exciting and long-anticipated first step towards Tipperary's evolution from independent bottler to fully functioning distillery.
