Brendel Cabernet Sauvignon 'Coopers Reed' 2022 750ml

Brendel Cooper's Reed Cabernet Sauvignon is a fresh, vibrant wine crafted by the winemaking team at Heitz Cellars under the guidance of winemaker Brittany Sherwood. This wine is noted for its "old-school" style, as it is aged in large oak vats sealed with reeds, which helps preserve the fruit's purity without adding a heavy oak influence.

This wine beautifully reinterprets Cabernet in a charming, accessible way, designed to pair well with a variety of dishes—diverting from the heavy, oak-centric profile often found in Napa wines. 

The blend comprises approximately two-thirds Napa fruit and one-third Sonoma fruit, allowing it to carry a "North Coast" AVA designation. The grapes are organically farmed.

While the fruit is prominently showcased upfront, featuring flavors of black cherries and blackberries, the palate offers a refined, streamlined experience. It finishes with considerable length, hints of star anise, and a silky texture.
